The only thing 10000rpm drives have going for them now is access time. Actual read and write speeds (which are most important for overall performance) are slower than the new Seagate .12 and Samsung F3 because they have a lot higher platter density.

WOW NewEgg rocks! It has been just about 24 hours since I placed the order and I have the monitor and the case already. The rest of the parts are coming from CA so it may be Monday until I get them.

That's what I love about Newegg most, even above their awesome prices: speed of delivery.

I've had things arrive before they sent the e-mail that it was shipped.

Hey you play FSX, right? You could overclock that thing to 4.0GHz easy, just get a nice cooler such as:

I haven't played FSX yet but I flirt with the idea every now and then. I would love to get the EMB 145 model in there and see how it compares to real life.

I went with this cooler here.

Well its not the sim as much as the $100.00 flight stick that will hurt. I use to love the flight sims especially the combat ones. I will go to BB and play with the nice flight stick/throttle set up and that will probably put me over the edge.

$100 huh? Next time you're up in the air can't you just remove the one you're using after landing and wire up a USB cable to it?

Well the only problem with that is that in the post 9/11 world I can't carry my letherman with me anymore so it would be hard to disassemble.

Well guys I have it up and running so far I have only loaded a few aps. With the pain I'm having the wiring will have to wat as well as the pictures.

So far I have gotten the second monitor to work but I can't seem to get my mic to record anything.

Lol your lucky. My last build I got all the components in before the case so I just build the thing on my desk and fired it up without the case installed windows and did my stability testing.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
