Cain, Windows 7 Pro 64 is the choice I'm going with and here's my primary reasons.
It's has increased security as like XP Pro as compared to XP Home.
GPO Management providing a better ability to secure a critical machine.
Better backwards compatibility and the XP VPC mode for those hard headed programs.
Will run 64 bit Virtual Machines when needed and I have come to a point at work that requires me to be able to load 64 bit Virtual machines for testing and troubleshooting. (e.g. Windows 2003 Enterprise 64, 2008 Enterprise 64, RedHat 5.3 64)
