If you're lookin for quite then don't get any raptors. Those things are nuts. They make more noise than 3 legged dog whose tail you stepped on.

This was my first build, I'm still a PC newbie in many regards. That's why when WD Green worked once, I just bought it again.
Same with my Radeon 4890, I love it, I imagine I will buy from the same line (not 4000s) again.

Update on the 2TB. Worked fine for the first month and died
RMAing the little bastard.
From it's time working it really is a good drive...it definitely is slower than the 7200 RPM, HD movies took some buffer time instead of immediate playback. With regular file sizes though it performed really well for a 5400.Comment
