    If you're lookin for quite then don't get any raptors. Those things are nuts. They make more noise than 3 legged dog whose tail you stepped on.

      Do you speak from experience on both sounds??? lol.

      This was my first build, I'm still a PC newbie in many regards. That's why when WD Green worked once, I just bought it again.

      Same with my Radeon 4890, I love it, I imagine I will buy from the same line (not 4000s) again.

      I need to post my PC....

        Update on the 2TB. Worked fine for the first month and died
        RMAing the little bastard.

        From it's time working it really is a good drive...it definitely is slower than the 7200 RPM, HD movies took some buffer time instead of immediate playback. With regular file sizes though it performed really well for a 5400.

          That's a pity. However, it's good to know that WD's RMA service is second to none.
