So we have one here in the office for development purposes. As I said before, we sell manufacturing solutions and our mobility apps for resource management, Transportation Management, Order Management, etc. could be very valuable to people who must travel through factories and etc. We have been looking into doing some great things and so...

Here is what I think:

1) the problems are not really problems but early limitations that are probably going to be resolved in a very short period of time.

2) because of #1, I agree with everyone who is being a bit obnoxioous about the early adopters. Those people are kind of like Sheep or techno addicts. When Version 2 debuts in about 12-14 months they will whine that they paid much more than everyone else for half the value- sorry dudes, but you are as they say "teh suck" for being unable to control yourself.

3) to defend the people in #2, I must say that "someone has to buy it in order to justify the full investment". That is, unless there is a healthy following that can help Apple make growth projections, they will NOT improve the product or release the entire subset of tech packages. The cost to manage and create stability is just too costly at the enterprise level in B2C environments.

4) I think that deep down inside, there are more than a few people in this discussion that are a bit jealous that someone has the cash to blow $400 bucks on a brick that could be The Newton II, and not even care.

5) I think alot of people should stop commenting in this discussion based on what they read or heard in the news, as they really dont know WTF they are talking about because those people havent spent time with the product to be anything more than a troll. You know who you are, and if you are insulted, too bad. Experience in the first person is much more relevant if you are going to make criticisms- its like talking smack about driving an F1 vehicle because you dont think it will be as fast as your Pinto. Thats just a load of crap.
