LOL When you can't beat them kick, scream and sue. I hope they loose because I hate the fact that my Itouch is a nice piece of hardware but having to deal with Itunes is like living in China. I hope to be getting some sort of droid product within the next 12 months or so. I just want to be able to drag and drop the music that I have bought.

It just surprised me cause I haven't really seen anything visually that could be considered a patentable item on my HTC Hero. It's such an improvement over the iPhone due primarily to it's Linux kernel based.

I knew they were going to worry about getting their butt kicked by android, but I didn't think they were going to try this.

Jobs comments in the day after the Ipad announcement make me think that he is throwing some kind of hissy fit. I of course believe in the law and will be interested in what patents they are talking about.

Apple are getting scared of the compeition imo. They're bringing out newer, faster, stronger... products so quick it's unreal. There appears to be no plannee schedule to their launches anymore.

Oh and they also might be trying to deflect a little recent news like this.

I'm sure part of this is due to the fact that it's normal operating procedure to sue just about any competitor. Due in no small amount to the lame patent system
