    A little quick update;

    Danbo son discovered an issue

    How in the world to I pop these tooless free things off for the optical drives? I got one slightly loose and that was it. It feels like if I push anymore force on em I'll break it. If I can't figure out to remove all six of em with out breaking them then my idea of getting this case powder coat just flew out the window.

      Click the button in the middle once, it opens. Click it again, it closes. Simple as that... and I don't even have a tooless case.

      Oh you dont NEED to remove them. They should stay attached unless you really need to move them for some reason.

        I decided I wanted the case to be powder coat. But before I can have it powder coat, I have to disassemble the case completely down meaning removing all the rivets cause the powder coat gun can't reach all the corners well and to have a uniform finish on the edges. Also, all plastic parts ie; tooless parts needs to be removed cause its going to be baked in a heated oven. So If I cant remove them with out damaging them, then I cant have the case powder coat.

            How much is it going to cost you to have this done?

              Several places didnt want to do it, but I found one place that will do it for $160 for Satin Black and that includes media blasting and some type of cleaner. The guy tells me if I bring it in this week, he could probably do it cheaper. They were doing a contract order of those vintage street light poles for a city and he tell's me they can put it in the oven at the same time. He goes on to tell me if I use the same color as what they are using on the street poles, it will be cheaper since I would get the left over. I thought about that but the street poles have a glossy black and I dont want that.

                  Or you could have spent 300 bucks on a real case...

                    More goodies for me In light of phantoms goodies on his project, I'm jealous.

                    The Aero Touch 2000 came from Tigerdirect. I had the LCD fan controller in my newegg shoping cart and a Koutech card reader but when I was ready to place my order, they were out of stock I went ahead and order me some fans.. I wanted to order those Noctua fans but they are ugly. So I wanted to give Scythe fans a try. Supposeally they are good

                    Newegg.com - Scythe S-FLEX SFF21D 120mm Case Fan - Case Fans

                    My cables came in yesterday but I had to go pick it up today cause it was a Signature required. lol I didn't like packaging but shh.. dont tell those guys over at MDPC-X
                    Anyway, I hope im not over my head with this cabling

                    Nils always put some kind of drawing on the packages and I was wondering what about me... I fliped it over and I almost destroyed it trying to open it... but.... but....

                    I dont know if anyone remembers me saying something about people think Im a girl cause of my name in the where ur game name topic somewhere around here.....

                      Wow. Win. Maybe it's your overuse of the term "woot" that makes some people think you aren't a dude, but a dudette. Now post pix of final project.

                          My project is almost done. Or until I RMA half of my parts! You seem to be really lucky. First you win a snowmobile out of hundreds of thousands of people in MW2 promotion. Then your GTX280 actually works. Buy a lotto ticket and be friggin HAPPY!

                                Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
