I hate that Auto-notify feature on those sites. I was waiting for Newegg to get some more Bulldozer PC case for about a month now. I gave up on it. I ordered some average looking case. EXACTLY 20 minutes later, right when newegg sends the "payment Charged" email- it also sent the auto-notify on my Bulldozer case. Too late. Damn it.

Anyways, I love Acer. Some people don't prefer them but they are really top notch. I have bought a laptop and it still runs under the ownership of a friend (4 years so far). I bought a 22" monitor that is still working 3 years running, though in a closet now. And I bought a new laptop from them a few days ago. ACER FTW.

Nice monitor. Although I would have thought you would have a finer resolution to go along with your hard core setup.

I am using an old 19' CRT that I had laying around. I can run Vent, Precession, speedfan etc etc. It's nice to be able to glance at all your hardware monitors.

TBH, i love acer monitors too. They have a nice price point for the quality and size, and i'll tell you what, of the 2 i've replaced over the years, 1 of which in the last 6 months(not all mine, don't worry!), the return service is exemplary...

LOl lately I have been embracing the inner geek. The high point of this was when my father had been having troubles with his old P3 and wanted me to build him a new machine. What ended up happening was I went over to his house and troubleshoot his machine to and found a bad stick of RAM. We removed the bad stick and did a full reinstall and he is back in business without spending a dime. The next big event in may addiction was the creation of the Vacsetamator in November.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
