My Computer is being attacked!

Please anyone really good at IT work help...

Alright cant post from my home computer because its being hit by some malware or spyware called Vista Smart Security 2010

i've found that the process is called AVE.EXE

i need something that can kill this i downloaded 2 programs that said they can and in the middle of their scan they shutdown....

I've shut off my internet because its closing or bypassing my firewall making virus's being downloaded luckily one of my programs is finding them and disabling them.

Any and all help appreciated my computer is fried until i can figure this out.

im backing up files and gonna scan them on an old laptop before putting onto regular computer again if i have to reformat.

What programs did you try and use.Is one Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.If not then try it.If the spyware wont let you run it,start your pc in safe mode and run it there.

Sometimes a simple search of the spyware/malware name is helpful to remove em cause useally someone else download or caught it first

Disconnect your internet and run windows in safe mode before scanning.

I ran in safe mode, unplugged internet, and it says i dont have the right to delete it im running on the Vista hidden admin.

I give up with this thing, im reformatting Phants idea wins....

You could always rewind your computer. Set it back like 2 weeks. I do that more than reformatting.

Its not that hard to get rid of, but it sounds like you got it fully installed on the PC. We are warning users to power off their PC if it pops up, as even if you try and click the 'X' to close it, it will still install.

do a search for rkill.exe if you run it before using malwarebytes it will kill the process and let you delete it.

If the programs you are running to clean it are not able to and shut down in the middle, are you also using these same programs to scan your laptop when you backup / copy over the files?

I'm not expert, but I'd be careful about transferring anything over to a new machine..

Ok i fixed my computer for one and BT i didnt transpher anything deadly only photo's and music and i scanned them over to a computer without internet that also has the deep freeze program on it i believe im alright there.

My wife had that darn thing, it took scans with several softwares and a registry edit to get rid of it. It was like a 4 day part time job. One of the nastiest things I've seen. And it potrays itself as something good.
