ok and i'm about to sound really stupid. this comes with 2 8800gt so therefore do i have to do anything for them to work? or do i have to "configure"? i suck at this lol

Nope you won't. With it being pre built it'll work out of the box. Sli doesn't work in all games though, and is only really intended for high resolutions, e.g 1920x1600.

Don't they do a spec with one 8800GT?

2 gigs will get you through the short term. A 32 bit OS like XP or Vista won't recognize much more than 3 anyway, and if you get name-brand ram you can upgrade later at your convenience for cheaper than what it would take to go to that level now in many cases.

I seriously considered Cyberpower this summer for my system, but decided against them. They had the best price, but WAY too many complaints in various places against them. I went with Velocity Micro, and haven't regretted it. Superb build, good price, and excellent quality. My single qualm is that they used a version of PC-6400 Corsair Value Select that I can't buy anywhere--it's ONLY available to certain builders, not even Newegg has it. So when I want to upgrade my ram I take a slight performance hit for not having the exact same brand, or I get four new sticks.

Then again, under that deal posted this week for 2 gigs for $37.00 after rebate, 4 sticks of that stuff is less than 2 were when I bought my system.

off note, but more proof the GT is a better bet. the G80, supposedly is ending its life in january.
