    New joystick

Hey guys I am looking for a new joystick to replace a very old Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital 3D, which is probably 8 to 9 year old, which finally decided not to work. but I think I got my good times out of it and ready for a new one

    Thanks,

Wow, I haven't used a joystick in years... since Lucas Arts x-wing/tie fighter games.

I am still using my Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2. It is what, about 10 years old?
      Apache

Where do you put the Bayonet?

Do you have it set up so that you can use it in badcompany for the choppers? I haven't had one in years, but might consider getting one to fly those choppers...I'm getting a little better with mouse and keyboard, but it isn't easy.

I loved the X-WIng/Tie Fighter games! they were awesome! I wish they would come out with a new version of that... Combat flight sims don't seem to be the in thing any more, though...

It probably won't work. At some point I tried to reinstall Tie Fighter, but it wouldn't work because it said it needed Directx 5. I had Directx 9 at the time!

I also use the MS Sidewinder 2 stick.... you can't buy it retail anymore but maybe on amazon/ebay

                      I'd recommend something from saitek:
                      Aviator for Xbox 360 PC

                      Or something basic from Logitech:

+1. I tried to reinstall it about a year ago and no joy. I am looking at the disc right now. It is snuggled in right between Thief and Myst.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
