Using Windows Vista Premium 64 and

I have recently recieved my Windows 7 upgrade.

To be honest I want to just upgrade to Windows 7, however I think it would be best to reformat and start all over.

Anyone ever used an OS for like 5 months then upgraded it and everything works fine?

I'm being lazy... i know it, but if I need a fresh install of Vista then straight into the upgrade, that is what I will do.

Last time I did anything with an upgrade was from 3.11 to 95 It was a mess. Ever since I've always started with a clean slate although I'm sure they improved it since then.

I would recommend just formatting and installing Windows 7. You don't need to have the previous OS installed, even with the upgrade version. It may ask you to insert the Vista DVD during the install process to verify that you have the old version.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
