I like the logitech Mx518 6 buttons including the wheel. I like to map out the buttons for everything from night vision to grenades, reload and switch weapons etc..
I'm curious how easy it is to use the additional buttons on the lachesis?
I found the extra buttons on the copperhead a little awkward.
One thing I like on the G5 is that it's designed for right-handers. I don't need an ambidextrous mouse.
Right now I have on my list
Logitech G5
Razer Deathadder
Razer Lachesis
-I am leaning a little toward the Logitech, I've had a bunch of there stuff and not had a failure. But my Razor mouse died in only 2 years. So I have some questions about their reliability.

The two thumb buttons on the Mx518 are similar to the ones on the G5. They are mouse buttons 4 and 5. I use the front one for Mele/Knife selection and the aft one for primary weapon selection.

It kind of depends on your hand size i guess. When i had a quick play i found it to be a breeze. The sensitivity is crazy. Possibley the best mouse i've ever used.... just a pity i can't afford to buy myself one right now.
Since the shape of the Razers is so different from that of the Logitech mice, it really depends on which shape you prefer. I personally don't like the shape of the Razer mice. If I were to get a new mouse right now it would be the G5 second edition. I have an MX518 right now, and I love it.
load it up all the way with heavies, and adjust it untill it feels right to you, that's how I did it. When I want to get serious I drop the entire weight carrier out and when i'm playing around I have almost all of the heavy weights in it.

I actually find myself playing with all of the heavies in it.

Sounds logical, at high DPI, the heaver weight would keep it from very minor twitches.
Thanks, I'll give it a try later tonight.

I'm still using an MX510, that they stopped production of a while ago. I've had it for at least 4 years, through planetside, 2142 and many other games. My starcraft addiction wasn't nice on it. It's lasted through 2 Dell keyboards, and my 3rd is on the outs. Logitech make the most reliable mice in the world, and when my 510 finally died, I'll send it back and they will replace it with another under their lifetime warranty. Of course, like everything else since the 510 isn't made they'll upgrade to whatever it is at the time. I love it!
HAPPY NEW YEAR !!
Well - just got back on my PC and played Delta Force game, Path of Exil 2, Diablo 4, BO6 and some WItcher3 , Ghost Recon Breakpoint...
