They have arrived and it's perfect timing because it's going to be 100 degrees here today.

Do you have air conditioning? We usually have weeks of 100F every summer with 100% humidity. I love it when they say a cold front is going to come through and drop us to the low 90'sF.

We have AC in the bedrooms but I think I will be investing on a large one for the downstairs. This is the first summer with the surrounding woods removed and the house is much hotter that it has been in the past so I think I will have to pull the trigger on it.

I just went to Lowes and there was a stream of people leaving the store with them I picked up an 12,000 BTU one that is supposedly good for 640sqft. We have about 720 if you go by the exterior dimensions so is should be OK.

I lived in Daytona Beach for 12 years and I don't remember it being in the 100's but I do remember the Humidity. The planes I taught in did not have AC and if you weren't the first person to fly that day the seat was usually soaked with sweat.

My first experience with sustained temp above 100 was when I went to Saab 340a captain training in July of 2000. That heat would suck the life out of you.

After a few emails I will take this thin apart and install these brackets. They are supposed to drop the idle temps by 3 to 4 degrees and although he load temps will be the same fans won't have to spin as fast.

100 humidity FTW!!! i miss nothing about the weather back east. and contrary to what people say, we are not in a perpetual state of blizzard in denver. its dry as hell out here most times.

I personally work in a nasty humid micro climate, i work 2-3 ft off wet soaked lawns. so while it may be dry as a bone over in the parking lot, my face is in some 90+ humidity all day.

                        i whine a lot

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
