Alright im ordering a new hard drive tomarrow and im gonna toss this question out now so i will have an answer for it by the time i get the hdd.

What do i have to do as far as formatting goes for a new hdd and how would i go about doing that, im going to be completely removing my current hdd, and am wondering if there is formatting and how to formatt a new hdd(so that i may install windows no problems)?

Windows will format the HDD for you in the first stage of the install process.

yeah, it should all go automatic. it formats, then you install the OS.
