Dang AMD fanboys are out in force. They're takin over I tellz ya.

Good for you Mad. There is a good feeling about putting together a system that does what its supposed to and more.

I been parting out systems in my dreams for 2 years. Good thing is, the longer I wait, the better the latest and greater will be. Just something to throw money at.

Nice to see AMD rigs being built after all that Intel hoo haa for 2 years now.

They may not have the absolute top end chips, but for anyone but the hardest hardcore, they are a great buy. I'm curious to see how the six core chips perform in new games.

Ohh, and AMD is now going with a new CPU pin layout after all these years, so AM2/AM3 is soon to be relegated to the dustbin. Sad, but its no surprise seeing as how Intel does it every freakin' year.

It was ike this. I went to Houston thinking about the new hexcore. I am still curious like you WT. But when I actually discussed it with my buddy and really looked at the specs, There wasn't much difference. Intel wants over a grand for there top-o-the-line chip. $#@& Intel! So I reverted back to the price bend principle.

The price bend is the point at which the prices go up with not much increase in performance. I find that by the time a product falls to the price bend, it's been on the market long enough to know if it's a good product or not and still new enough that it is still considered a new high performance part with lots of usefull lifetime.

I like this mouse Duke. It's just a simple 3 button mouse with 3500 dpi resolution. I hate all those extra buttons cause I'm always hitting one by accident. One of the smoothest builds I have ever had. I don't know if I am getting better at this or what.

Yea, when that hex core 1055T was a blowout hot deal at $200, I was shocked ... shocked, I tell ya !!

When I found out that some old AM2+ boards could run it with just a BIOS update, I nearly fainted like a schoolgirl at a Beatles concert.
