I agree with caddy bigfoot has yet to impress me with gaming network cards. Save the 90 bucks for more memory or better graphics card and get more bang for your buck.

Yeah it's not worth it. Besides most net cards do some type of offloading already. Basically by using a onboard cpu they do routine things so the main CPU dosn't have to. Stuff like calculating checksums.
