    Removing motherboard backplate safely Advise

    Hi Guys,

    I need advise on how to Removing motherboard backplate safely on AMD motherboard so I can fit my New Corsair H70 cpu cooler.

    Any Advise and Help will be welcome.

    Every case is different. Check your manual. There should be a tut about it. I personally just removed the back of the case. My plate had a hole in the back area of the CPU for this reason.

      You talking about this metal plate???




      Remove the 4 screw on the front from the AMD CPU cooler retention bracket and replace with Corsair funky lookin bracket.

              The hell, I've never seen that plate before. I thought you were talking about the motherboard tray. Must be an AMD thing.

                Well the good news is the backing plates off the the cpu and the mounting brackets are fitted in Just got to wait for my memory to to come then I need to find a case.

                So I would like to say a big Ty to Caddys83 for the videos and help

                Will be uploading some Pics when my New rig is complete
