I hate .. HATE ... LJ repairs. Ended up doing a P2035 two weeks ago and the 'repair' lasted all of one week. The transfer roller that my boss purchased was not an HP unit, some off brand, and it caused more issues.
Luckily, a local printer shop is offering us FREE printer servicing if we buy toner from them, so it looks like we are headed in that direction and I no longer have to sweat out some LJ repair using inferior, crappy parts.Oh if a man tried to take his time on Earth and prove before he died what one man's life could be worth, well I wonder what would happen to this world ? - Harry Chapin

WT I wish Newegg offerd that deal.
Thanks for the links Sirex, I was able to look the code that I'm getting 50.8 and I got the same thing that the guy one the phone said. I think when that stuff my stepdaughter ran through there got entangled and fused to the fuser it may have fried the DC controller so now I need to search for one of those and see if its worth replacing.

Hey I spoke to my friend today. As far as he knows there is no reset procedure other than turning it on and off. He also said you cant go by HPs error codes, in his experience they are only correct 50% of the time. I told him about the DC controller and he said they usually do not go because of the fuser.
He did say you should try a local service center and tell them your tale of woe, for maybe the price of a service call they get you up and running.
He also mentioned try calling the guys at Parts Now http://www.partsnow.com/
He says they know more about HP printers than Hewlett Packard does.Old school or the new, doesn't mean a thing if your heart's not true...

Unfortunatly my exp with 2025's stops once they fail.
Due to the fact i only see them at work, and once they start dropping, we just chuck'em out and get new ones.
