I have a laserjet CP2025 printer. Recently my stepdaughter put a type of media through it which not only jammed but it appears to have damaged the fuser. I was able to remove the jammed media and find a fuser online for $259.00 but I can't seem to find directions for replacing it. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Wow, $259 . How much would a new printer cost?[B]"Now more than ever the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. it looks like a simple step of moving backwards from #1 will get you access to the 2 cover pannel screws and then to the 4 carriage bolts that fasten the unit to that of the internal frame

Well after all this time the part finally arrived after being on back order. I was able to install it and when I powered it up I got the same error. If I didn't have $400.00 worth of toner in this thing I would toss it and start over so my options are to bring it somewhere to be repaired or just buy a new one for $359.00. I'm thinking that $359.00 would not be that much more then the repair. Bahhh

Hey Duke I used to make illustrations for a company that made after market repair manuals for HP and Cannon printers. Let me get in touch with the guy who ran the business there and see if I can come up with any additional info. I know in some instances you have to do a certain button press sequence to clear the error, just powering it on and off won't clear it.Old school or the new, doesn't mean a thing if your heart's not true...

So far the only people I have talked to were the HP people. They were friendly but were obviously using flip cards. Will the model and serial number help out?
