UPS man came today. God is Great
Im amazed by this Newegg.com - Corsair CA-HS1NA USB Connector Circumaural Headset Corsair HS1. Just came out last month. They feel light and dont squeeze your head. I have Newegg.com - ABS AZ1 Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound Light Weight Circumaural USB Gaming Headset AZ-1 headset for a few years now but that hurt my head after a while. When I build my new PC, I went with the Newegg.com - Turtle Beach TBS-2114 Earforce HPA2 5.1 Surround Sound Headset with Amplifier and Removable Microphone Turtle Beach Ear Force HPA2. It uses the 4 3.5mm connections and a USB (for power) The name Turtle Beach alone sounds cheap but I have great experience with the Newegg.com - Turtle Beach Xbox360 Wireless Gaming Headset Ear Force X41 Turtle Beach Ear Force X41 on the xbox360 over those el cheapo included headset the 360 comes with.
I admit, the Corsair HS1 comfort wise is a little better on the head over the Turtle Beach HPA2. The cushion ear cup is more softer then the HPA2 but I did like HPA2 firmer cushion cup.
Sound wise:
I'm not a audio freak so I used the old COD4 theme

On the Corsair HS1, It sounds great since my Turtle beach HPA2 has a very light sudder on the deeper notes.
I also used http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GCYUFdhCFI&hd=1 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IssgDh1cWug&hd=1
Over all, I'm happy with my investment. (Feel like I'm trying to do a review in this post ) Just wish I didnt bought the X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro since the Corsair HS1 use the USB port But What better reason to get me a speaker setup And for the records, Creative Labs drivers work fine. Must be a Windows XP user issue
But it sure looks purrty in mi case
