The performance of the GTX 460 is on par with the Radeon HD 5830, except it is nearly silent. It uses the same Fermi architecture, but unlike the other 470/480 chips, is a new chip without the same heat levels, noise levels and power consumption associated with other Fermis.

Also, I think 8GB of RAM is a little overkill right now. From what I have read, the sweetspot for dual channel is 4GB. (for tri-channel it is 6GB)

I had some really bad experiences with several Rosewill cases a few years back. Fake air openings, and nothing fit right. I suggest avoiding them.

I've decided to use the ddr3 I have on hand (4gb) and will probably add more later if i need to .

that Dead listed, did find the Zontac though. I've never used that manf before, might give it a shot though!

With tweaking a few things the cost has dropped to 684 too.

I can't recommend Gigabyte products. I had a MOBO go bad and it was one of the worst customer service experiences I ever had.

I will not ever buy another Gigabyte product.

Hmmm. I have always heard good things about Gigabyte and was thinking of using them for my next build. I'll have to keep that in mind.
