Disabling the NON-Drag Scroll on the Mouse

I don't know about you guys, but I sometimes accidently discover this.

Sometimes, I guess DUE to a button combination pressed on the mouse, wind up being able to scroll up and down without DRAGGING with the left mouse button, but seems somewhat magical. lol

YOu can move the mouse up and down without having to thold any buttons and scroll the screen

Is there a way to disable this, it's somewhat distracting

    Thanks

Well when this happens to me it's because I hit the mouse wheel which is mouse button 3. I believe you would have to go to the program that you are having this problem with to stop it. For example my moue does this in Firefox but not in Adobe.

    Change mouse button settings

    Good luck.

What brand mouse are you using? Does it have an app that lets you reprogram the buttons? If so, you should open that to see what it is programming your buttons to. As Duke said, it is most likely the mouse wheel.
