    Sandy Bridge video

I ran across this while poking around on NewEgg, I found it fairly informative.

You know when you use the Sandy video u cannot overclock, and overclock also depend which motherboard chipset u use. P67 is for overclock H67 is the one to use Sandy video...

I did not know that. I wonder what kind of gaming performance you get from the on board video. I suppose if you get decent performance you could build a gaming machine for less by not having to drop the coin for a separate video card.

When I was playing around with Sandy Bridge reviews I found some stuff that basically said the best they could run at higher levels was TF2. We'll still need discrete cards for the massive run of AAA titles due out this year.

Gamers should probably use P67 with K parts. Everyone else could probably use H67 with non-K parts.

Here is another video I saw talking about Sandy Bridge (and ASUS' new BIOS Setup)

BTW, that is an AMI BIOS

Disappointed about this new product line. The graphics can be handled by any ATI 5450 card. That's a very low end performace for today. Also too many new chipsets are introduced for my taste. But that''s what you would expect from Intel.

I'm wondering if they'll ever bring out new Cpus for the x58 chipset.

These sandy bridge cpus seemed more geared towards HTPC use. Either your overclocking the cpu or the graphics but not both. And the video that's on it will run a game. But my thinking a game to them is the SIMS, while I'm thinking Crysis. So if you want to over clock it for performance, you need to use a motherboard which wont support the video portion and your still using a graphics card. And if you want to use it as your single CPU/GPU solution you can overclock the video, but not CPU. I cant wait to see some real world numbers on this one.

I dont know what niche they are looking at, but PC gamers wont mess with this. Unless they are setting it up to run in consoles. Should push 800x600 resolution pretty good. Lmao.

Exactly, most of us won't use the internal graphics anyway (just like it always has been). I am very interested in the CPU overclock, though. From what I have seen, the K parts OC very well, and they aren't that expensive. The 2600K (3.4GHz) is only $325.

4.4GHz is nothing for them. they are great overclockers no doubt!

I read multiple reviews that the 2500K overclocks on the stock cooler to something like 4.4Ghz out of the box, and it's only about $230-240.

You know what, I can see this proc doing well in a laptop. Which now more people use now a days. And if they can start making games that run well on these things, maybe pc games will start selling better. Just saying.
