Cheapest Video Card for BC2 Vietnam

    I'm helping a friend get into BC2....

She has a Quad core AMD, with a crappy video card.

What is the cheapest video card to help her get good framerates, etc.??

It still plays decent on my laptop that has 9800m and a core 2 duo but that is with the graphics turned way down. I'm not too sure about the different AMD CPUS and what their performance is like so I'm not sure what to pair it with.

    Is there a budget number?

Probably as low a budget as possible.

Money pretty tight for these folks.

I read the same advice on another forum and they seem to run in the 200 range.

Duke, if you run the res that high, aren't the players very tiny running around the screen?

Maybe but to me if I play at a lower resolution I feel like I'm in a small world, it's also the native resolution of my monitor which is supposed to look better.
