Is this hard to do? I had a heck of a time changing one a few years back. Is there a guide somewhere?

Download Handbrake, its a free video encoder. Seems pretty simple to use.
handbrake.fr
This was about an 18 sec video I made of plants vs zombies using fraps.
I selected my file as the source (upper left corner that says source).
Go to the video tab and select your codec. h.264 is what i use.
Select your output folder (where the encoded vid is placed)
then click the green start button. It will then encode (this can be CPU intensive sometimes).
New file i named pvz is only ~3mb

And unfortunately I cant use mkv. I stream all of the videos I encode over my network to the xbox360/tv, but the 360 doesnt play .mkv (or i haven't found a way to force it to yet).Delivering bacon goodness one round at a time.
