The Droid Thunderbolt

I have the Android Xperia....great phone with 8.1 megapixel camera on it...only thing is battery life. If you have BT or Wifi on the phone is dead in 3hrs

What really sucks the life out of my current Droid is the GPS.

Wow that sucks. My iPhone usually lasts about a day under heavy 3GS/Wifi usage.

I never keep bt or WiFi on unless I'm using it. I put the buttons on my desktop so I can easily turn them on or off when needed.
My EVO is a battery hog but I use an extended battery and charge every night. Just in case I forget I can fairly easily get two days if needed.

They'll work battery issues out, but it would take a lot more than that for me to go with iPhone :-)

I thought the Thunderbolt was suppose to be available as of yesterday but looks like it now 24th.

It wouldn't surprise me if it were true, My wife and I were going to compare her iphone to the Thunderbolt but the new return policy is you only have 14 days to return it so we will not be able to do this with the new release date.

My wife just got the HTC Inspire. Looks like the Thunderbolt, but for AT&T. It is pretty nice. The thing is HUGE! Almost too big to be honest.

Below is a comparison between the two, it looks like the performance should be the same but the thunderbolt is a tad smaller. Does the inspire perform well?

It seems to perform pretty well. The only negative I have seen so far (other than the sheer size of the thing) is that indoor picture quality isn't that great. It takes superb pictures outdoors, but indoors they come out grainy looking and sometimes washed out.

I haven't gotten to mess with it too much, though. She keeps taking it away from me.

Well, it's the 24th and I still don't see the Thunderbolt available on Verizon's site.

I just called my BB and they said there is an unofficial date of the 26th then online I just read where a BB store reported a date of March 4th.
