The good thing about a new product coming out is that it usually means the cards a generation or two behind will drop in price. That's usually where I do my shopping!

Well I doubt there will be any upgrading for me in the fall, my computer money will be used to try to scrap up a laptop that will play BF3, I hope some of the Sandy Bridge laptops will be out by then.

Why a laptop duke?

Your gona have to pay threw the nose to get a laptop good enough for BF3.

Spent $800 1 month ago on a laptop that is about as fast as my intel e8500 @ 4Ghz cpu. Tested the laptop and got a score on 3dmark06 that was almost the same CPU wise.
But the video card (ati 5650) is holding it back badly. SM3 was 3040, sm2 was 2444, and cpu was 3000. My pc when i had a gts 8800 g92 was pushing 3600 sm3 and like 4600 sm2.
If I didn't need a laptop for school i would have never bothered and stuck with desktop systems. Atleast the gtx 285 will keep me going a big longer.

Best bang for 800 but still not a desktop :/

From the pic, you need 3 8-pin connectors. So a crazy PSU would be a given. I think I would get one because nVidia > AMD
