I recently had installed a 3rd party application, it's a rather well known "Grammar Checker"
I think it's for those who don't want to purchase massive amounts of money for MS Office/Word.
Apparently, if you uninstall their software, there are "harmless" remnants left over that's kind of a pain to get rid of, or if you run a routine scan, apparently it's not cleaned, but found to be on the system again after it's clean.
I think it's a 3rd parties company "tactic" to nag you after you've tried out their software...so they put something in their software "in case you change your mind and buy it".
I researched this, and people said these "leftovers" are harmless.
But I wanted a 2nd opinion here on the Cain's Lair.
