What I might do is that I might get the Corsair 1000w PSU, and take out my 850 watt PSU.

Would anyone want a 850 watt Corsair PSU? I have all the original parts and its only been used for a couple months. I actually have two. One is still in the packaging and one is in my computer. Probably going to sell both after I get a little more money.

i keep one around just because. when a power supply goes, it is nice to have a back up to get you up and running again. also helps for trouble shooting.

        I just loaded it up with and OCed i7 at 4.4 1.32v and dual 570s, 4 140mm led fans 1 10000k rpm Hdd and 1 7200 Hdd a card reader and 4 USB devices and I just broke 700W. I don't think you need a 1000W PSU.

Ya 850W should be able to handle SLI no problem.

I build this one In Nov09 when I got a vasectomy. I was only joking about building another one just because this one was dusty. Although the new HDDs and USB 3 are attractive to me this a machine has all the HP I need for BF3 and I just can't justify any upgrade to it. My next personal upgrade will be a laptop that can handle BF3 so I can play while I'm on the road. Hopefully I will be able to play games with my son even though I'm many miles away.

Haha alright ill lay off the 1000 watt PSU for now. But in the meantime I actually do have a Corsair 850 watt power supply that is brand new still in the box unopened. Amazon accidentally sent me an extra HD and PSU so anyone want to buy it? I could use the money towards my SLI bridge and graphics card.

Quick question about the SLI Bridge. Do I have to use the one that came with my ASUS motherboard or can I use one from EVGA?

Yes, you can. All Bridges are identical, as are the cards.

Ok cool. I just trust the EVGA brand more since my cards are from EVGA.

                                Two more dumb questions.

                                1. I see that there are two places I can put the SLI bridge for my cards. Does it matter which one? Here is my bridge.

                                EVGA | Products

                                2. How exactly do you know our cards in SLI? I use EVGA precision and I clicked the sync button and both cards look like they are in SLI but I just wanted to make sure.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
