Although you may want to read some reviews before you dump your money on it. Since each manufacturer has different ways of rating specs like contrast and response time, seeing them both first hand is the way to go. Right behind that is reading what people who have seen it first hand have to say.

I don't mean the little Best Buy reviews, I mean real reviews that go in-depth.
