one looks awesome, like a top dollar board, the other one looks like it were made on the low end of things.
if the answer isnt color, is it 20 some bucks?

haha, out of all your post, i seriously didnt see that line.

i am seriously guessing its just the looks of it though. the 160... one looks sweet, something you'd gladly/proudly display in your rig.
the other has the same specs and just built. since they have the same stuff, id go and save 20 some bucks and spend it elsewhere.

that isnt the first item ive sen on new egg with identical specs and different prices.
ran across a few mobos, and ram sticks like that when i was pricing out my build. at least those two mobos look different , the ones i was looking at was exact same item

Its all about the bling baby.....

Sometimes a black mobo is better and some people would rather save the cost of the black parts and get the cheaper stuff.

wrong. I have been involved in electronics for almost 40 years. I rebuilt my first amplifier when I was 12. (both of my parents worked in the industry)

although you were on to the truth. I did not need your post to tell me that the power regulation was different on the two boards in question. also, stating the difference in choke count means nothing to someone that doesn't know anything about power supply technology.
