Cleaning Out Your Keyboard

Has anyone tried cleaning their keyboard? I eat on my computer desk at least 1 meal a day. I decided to clean out my keyboard today. The keys were sticking together too much, assuming from various "fluids" dropping on it. Turns out I have a giant amount of hair and breadcrumbs enough to feed Africa for 2 years. Cleaned them out and now I have an epic clickity click keyboard. I recommend it.

Also if your keyboard isn't too fancy(i.e. not a ton of electronics) you can run them through the dishwasher. just have to let them dry for about 3 days.

For some reason I find that totally hysterical that you know that.

I remember the first time I took apart a keyboard, I knew where all the letter keys went but that was it. Was kinda interesting putting it back together.

Wow. The keyboard I have now I've had since 2004, a Saitek Eclipse... I can't imagine what it would look like. I wish it would crap out so I could get something else but it still works great and I'm too frugal.
