Haha well you better upgrade for BF3 cause if this article is right you are gonna need the at least the NVIDIA 460 GTX lol.

If a 460GTX is minimum then EA/Dice are doing something seriously wrong.

im not too worried. although id like to have a better card. i at least have a 1GB 5770. maybe i have to turn shadows off or something. we'll see. Im half tempted to start setting aside some cash right now in case i do have to upgrade.

I was just looking at the EVGA site and I think there are some new variations of the 500 series.

EVGA | Products EVGA GeForce GTX 580 3072MB

EVGA | Products EVGA GeForce GTX 580 DS Superclocked

EVGA | Products EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD 2560MB

EVGA | Products EVGA GeForce GTX 570 DS HD

I especially like the dual fan ones lol

I'm actually just getting ready to order my graphics card (probably going to get it next week when I get paid; a GTX 580), and everything I've been reading says the cooling on those cards are good, but in SLI setups not so much. They draw and exhaust heat back into your case, as opposed to out of it. This could lead to incredibly high temps on both your card and inside your case. Cards such as this exhaust out of your case (for the most part).

Good thing I only have the one fan then lol

When you SLI, what position of the card do you want to put the second fan. Exact same as the one on top/below? Just wondering for cooling purposes.

                              huh?
the cards will go in right on top of each other. if you're case is good, you'll have a fan opening above the cards. put the case fan there. now, with my old set up, i had air pushing in on the two cards. if these things are going to be blowing hot air back into your case, you may wish to have that fan be an exahust instead of intake.

something to think about as well, your top card, is going to run hotter than the bottom card. it wont have as much free space around its cooling fans. it will be sucking in the hot air off the back side of your lower card. This is why i had to have my fan on intake.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
