Setting up EVGA Precisions OSD (On Screen Display) works with other manufactures.

This guide shows how to set up the on screen display (OSD) in EVGAs precision software. Precision can be found on the DVD that came with your video card or at this link. EVGA | EVGA Precision | EVGA Precision It is a program that allows you to overclock and monitor you video cards and is based on the the program RivaTuner.

I will try to add more features to the thread as needed. As BF3 approaches we all want to have our hardware tuned in to give us the best possible performance. Feel free to add information or ask any questions.

The OSD setting can be accessed by clicking the tools button on the bottom right, OSD tab then the more button. In theses tabs you can select various settings including moving it's default location which had it over the text chat area which made it hard to read.

After you have the display set up you need to select what information you want displayed. In this screen shot you can see the information that is available, if checked it will show up in the graph and allow you to have it in the OSD, LCD or both.

Here is a closeup of the OSD.

The full size screen shot, I chose this particular one because the information is easy to read.

      Nice guide Duke.

This works for pretty much all gfx card manfacturers overclock/monitoring tools these days as they're all based on rivatuners code.

I'm currently using MSI Afterburner with my Pallit card.

Juneau are you able to display CPU data with the MSI app? I remember a plugin for Rivatuner that would allow that.

Pretty sure it deals with just GPU only. Iirc EVGA precision was this way too.

I'm guessing when the manufacturers bought the rights to rivatuner they ditched things that didn't matter to them, ie CPU monitoring.

Check out this thread over at EVGA, if anyone had an account over there it wouldn't hurt to chime in and maybe they will add it.

            Add CPU Usage To Precision

I need to check that out! I have been using Rivatuner for a while for GPU fan control, and I was wondering when a new version was going to come out.

Just thought i'd throw up an image of MSI Afterburner in case anyone was interested in what it looks like.

I actually prefer the look over Precision, and i used Precision for years.

Hey, when I get down to the place in OSD to click more, more is grayed out. Whats up with that.

Good question, you must select information in the monitoring tab before it becomes available.
