I am going to go off topic for a minute.

I live alone so don't care to have headphones on, but used them for mic feedback in game.
How are mics and gaming doing with feedback or will I have to go back to getting some headphones?

My cousin came for a visit and saw me using a ear buds instead of a headset because my old Logitech had died. He felt bad for me so we traded a couple computer parts and a G35 headset was included. It's quite good. I was never a fan of logitech and still am not, however this is a very good piece of headset. Incredibly comfortable.

i like the gaming mouse though... still anyone have a feedback answer to my question on to headphone or not to .

I guess you're using speakers? If so, whenever you use your mic we're going to get some serious feedback and volume coming through from the game, and depending on game volume we'll hear more of the game than you.

I've only ever played with a couple of ppl that use the speakers + mic combo and tbh it annoyed me. Thankfully it was random players and not a CLR that i would consistantly play with.

The only way would be to reduce or mute in game audio everytime you hit your PTT key. Pretty sure this has never been implemented in any game.

You'll be wanting a headset and not headphones. There are hundreds and hundreds of headsets to choose from.

A lot of people here use Logitech. I like there mice and keyboards, but have never been fond of their headsets.
