Interesting, does it test the voltage under a load of some sort?

That is pretty cool and reasonably priced IMO. Could really come in handy when diagnosing PC issues.

I don't know, I don't think they do, but who knows...

As soon as I get it I'm testing the PS of our old Forums server... I'll report back.

Then I'm testing the 50 old Power Supplies I have been saving, just in case.

It will be interesting to see how it works. A bad battery can show proper voltage until it's placed under a load, i'm not sure if this applies to PSUs also.

Just looks like a purpose built meter for the PSU.

Doubt it can do any load testing just tell you if the psu is outputting correct voltages.

Me i just hot wire the psu with a piece of wire and get out the multimeter.

I was going to suggest this but Donzi beat me to it.

I will be picking something similar up. Maybe we can compare notes on product performance Cain?

NewEgg has a whole selection of them.

Will do... I was looking and yes, they have a bunch of these, I felt Thermaltake being a reputable company and major manufacturer I could hope for a more reliable device.

I'll get at the end of this week and I'll follow back up here.
