Older Hardware (Anyone Need?)

Hey Folks.

With all the upgrades going around, I know there is some older hardware that is starting to float around. Consider this a shameless plug, but I have some here as well that I would like to get rid of. If it's something of an upgrade for you, and you need it, well, I could use a few extra $ to help with the divorce and my itch that I had to sate recently. Here are a few of the items I have, if you're interested:

Cases:
1 Aluminum Lian Li case - older case, mid tower.
1 Black Acrylic Case - Mid tower format, tinted acrylic so you can see everything. Looked slick with a blacklight
1 Clear Acrylic case - just sitting here. I am missing two of the front drive covers for this one though
1 Antec Full Tower case - you'll have to see pictures of this one to really appreciate it. I painted it in 2006 with automotive paint. The sides are black, and the top/face has a silver stripe on it. The "open" side has a window cut in it that depicts a black panther, and the top has a window cut in it with the ability to mount two fans on the top. It can handle 6 80mm fans.

Monitor:
ACER 24" Widescreen Monitor, native res 1920x1200

The next bit I would like to sell "Together" if I could. The sole reason I upgraded to my current i5 chip is because I had the itch again. I am finding with the last few upgrades I have made with computers, they have been kind of a non-upgrade anyways. This build was still able to handle BFBC2 without a hitch. I kid you not when I upgraded to the i5, I gained maybe 10fps over either chip at stock speeds. Only time I really saw the i5 REALLY get an improvement over the Q6600 build, was when I overlocked the i5 to 3.8ghz.

OCZ DDR2 RAM (4gbs)
ThermalRight Ultra120 Cooler (with fan)


I will be traveling from the middle of NC to Michigan on the 23rd, and am willing to drop any of this off if you'd like to meet (and are on the route). Otherwise, I have no qualms with shipping it. I would like to get say... $45 in my pocket on the acrylic cases, $75 in my pocket for the antec case, $50 for the 8800GTS, $125 for the 5870, $150 for the ACER, and $200 for the Q6600 computer.

I can supply pictures of the above items without a problem - if you want specific angles or anything of that nature.

Honestly, I just want to get rid of it and if any of you have girlfriends/children/family that could make use of it, I would like to get it somewhere that it can be used. It is literally just sitting here in my closet collecting dust.

When did you buy it? The month and year.

How long did you use it?

Are they any broken pixels or wear/tear to it?

Does it have HDMI outputs??

What is the model name to it?


When I first bought an LCD... it was HP. It has DVI outputs, but not HDMI. My graphics card has one HDMI. I had to stick with analog. 17 inch size. Paid $149 for it 3 years ago.

Has some adhesive on the top from where I had taped something over the screen to protect it during a move. No dead pixels. Has DVI, HDMI, VGA plugs.

Only reason I am even getting rid of it, is because I bought three 21" monitors for Eyefinity.

If the age were shorter than 2 years, I'd be up to buying it off your hands.

I wish I could take the XFX graphics card off your hands. It's real tempting. I bet that card is bigger than my EVGA 8800GT. The 8800GT was barely fitting in my case with all the cords. I had to switch to a 128 Bus-width card (ATI 5770HD) just to continue playing the latest games and fit in my case.

It's not the divorce that sucks, it's the things she's pulling with my son.


Both Videocards sold on another site. I was not surprised to see them go so quickly. Cases/6600 Setup/Monitor still available.
