I like the search options at the Egg better as well as the rush processing I get when I use my NewEgg account as well as the zero percent interest that is available on certain purchases. I have also had good luck with Amazon also, epically with cell phone accessories and music purchases.

Free shipping? I was just charged 7 bucks for shipping on my headphones. I guess it's Beach Audio that is charging me shipping.

There were somethings that said 99 dollars with free shipping, but the result was the same price as paying for shipping lol

You want data? My comment here doesn't really count because we need 2000-3000 comparisons to be somewhat valid. Newegg & Amazon know the summary result, but they aren't talking.

I built a new PC last month. Where Amazon didn't beat Newegg's price, they were within a few $1 dollar bills. Being cheap, I usually go with the lowest price, but on a new PC, I also need a good return policy. I bought everything from Amazon except two small adaptors that only Newegg offered.

An item mentioned in today's forums: Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router WNDR3700 is $100 with free shipping at both Amazon & Newegg.

I want Newegg to be the best, and I won't buy electronics without checking their feedback. But until they upgrade their return policies, I will always lean "slightly" toward Amazon.
