Here you can see that the 6990m and the GTX 580m are close in performance but the 6990 is 1/2 the cost. The 485m is the same cost as the 6990m. My big question is about how I have heard about AMD not updating their drivers on a regular basis. What do you think of this?

On the GPU front there are also three choices I'm struggling over. I could save $$ and get the 2630 and try to OC it. Then I also wonder about the slightly higher speed and 2mb of L3 cache of the 2860m. Would that extra cache make much of a difference in BF3. I could also go high end and OC that too.
