looking for vid card that can run BF3 FOR $200-$250

I'm wondering what you all think would be an ok card for running BF3 for about $200-$250.

My son has a 460 SE that he is running and it work OK, he is limited by his older quad core CPU. I'm not sure about the AMD cards but I'm sure they have a similar offering.

I would go with either a GTX 560Ti or 6950 1GB. Both can be found for under $250, and both should perform well. Do you prefer NVIDIA or AMD?

I have no preference brand wise. I'm building a guest gaming rig/ HTPC, so I'm not looking to break any speed records but plays decent, low to medium settings.

I run a 460 1gb and it runs just fine. I have no desire to upgrade. You can find them for $200 or less.

My 560 Ti was in that range a couple months ago and the game runs fine on it.

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to go with the 560. My current rig runs two 460s and it plays great. I've run it just on one and it plays fine too. So I Imagine a single 560 would do the job fine.
