WTB laptop video card

Guys, I have a Sager 9262 laptop on a Clevo chassis. The video card burned up due to some bad drivers I installed. (long story dont ask)

What I'm looking for is a GeForce 9800M GTX or GT. Or a GeForce 280M GTX. These are the only 2 that will fit in this particular computer. It's possible that an 8600M or an 8800M will fit as the 9800 was just a jacked up version of those.They may have changed the design to fit this chassis. I'd just have to see a pic to determine that.

If anyone knows where I can find one let me know. No on is selling them. If you have actually seen one for sale, thats what I need to know. As it is now, I have a $3000.00 paper weight. (sale price when new)

Those wont work. The 280's are a different revision. And the 9800's are SLI not single cards.

I was hoping someone might have a laptop that had one that they might want to part out.

I did see some 280's on Ebay but they were Revision lll. I'm not really sure if those would work. That plus they are wanting over $600 for one.

At least give me a pic. If it reads MXM 2.1 it should be the same. What brand of laptop is that anyway. Mines a Sager.

Mine is a Gateway 7811, I will try to get some information about it while I'm on the road this week, I may sell the whole thing to help finance my future Laptop.

Looked up that card Duke. It's a 9800M GTS. 512mb card memory if you bought it stock.

Mine is a GTX 1gb mem. I'd have to see it to see if it would work. But I aint gettin my hopes up.

If it is a different brand of laptop then it probably won't work. IIRC there is still no standard for laptop video connectors, so each vendor has their own proprietary cards that won't work on other hardware.
