how much was it?

Well, It was on sale for 50$ down from 69$ but when I got it, the side panel was dented. I called Newegg to RMA it and they asked if I could live with the dent if they took 10$ off. I said sure. Then I contacted NZXT and asked if I can purchase the side panel separate. Not only did they send me a new side panel free of charge, they included and extra fan as well. So all in all I paid 40$. It has close to $1,400 dollars worth of gear inside it lol. I love it though, its about the size of a briefcase and I can tote it anywhere easily. I'm done with big towers, these days MATX boards can do anything the the big ones do.

that is probably the worst looking computer case in history of computer cases... sooo disgusting and unpleasant to the eye, it makes me wanna throw up

How can you call this case ugly? What is wrong with your eyes? I also want to see your computer case, and I sure hope it doesn't have the "Dell" badge on top of it.

I can see calling it ugly, but that's because I prefer VERY simple, square looking cases.

But

It's got so many features it makes it absolutely sexy. :P

lol It was meant to be a joke but whatevs :P ...let me break it down for you

*looking at the price and realizing is too expensive for me* ...then try to convince myself it's an ugly case because of the price being out of my reach.

THEN, when devilguns posted the picture of his computer case and mentioned it cost 50 bucks (being that a pretty decent price for a computer case), I replied "not that ugly actually" based of course on the price alone

I like my Level 10 GT more. It met all of my care requirements but it is definitely a 'beauty in the eye of the beholder' case. I took an inordinate amount of flack for settling on that case, but nothing ... I repeat .. NOTHING .. does more to stir a debate among tech nerds than case selection.

Lol, I couldn't agree more. I think the Level 10 GT is a great case. If I run into some mad money I would get that case in a heart beat. When it comes to geek fights, arguing over cases is probably up there with the Star Wars vs Star Trek debates lol.

When it comes to cases people usually fall into two camps, People who like uninspiring clean lines of Lian Li cases. Or people who dig cases that look like they are ready to go to war, like myself. On Overclock.net I've seen Lian Li fans trash people who own the Corsair Obsidian which to me looks just like a Lian Li case lol.

@Luis, I never took offense at all bud I admit your sarcasm went over my head in your original post lol. But being in the computer building hobby for nearly 20 years, and the way you stated your opinion in the original post, it just sounded like that group people who are so passionate about cases. They say stuff like that and mean it for real lol.

DG, is that a fan controller with sliders ?? As mentioned, it looks like an 80's boombox, but I am digging that fan controller if that is sliders instead of the typical rheostat dials.


Doesn't matter what the case looks like to me, only that it can play games and keeps the user happy.

Yes, it's the NZXT Sentry Mesh fan controller. It's cool, only gripe I had was it had a white led. It was only a pin dot but I had to change change it to red to go with my red and black motif lol. It's a solid unit and the sliders look real cool.
