So is good or is this bad?

    EDIT: Try this...

    BenchMark results...

If this doesn't work, then I don't know what to do. I have the saved file, but no program will open it...it says it is a 3DR file, but it won't open in Excel...recommendations?

8787? not too bad, but since you are running 3 sticks of ram its not running in dual channel mode, so its got some impact. the E640 could probbly be oc'd a bit

what i find funny is the hd2900 for the fastest system. talk about crippling it, a QX9650 with a hd2900? ouch!

      what mobo is that? i can't recongnize a 0WG855.

Not too shabby all things considered. my system i still haven't tweaked or oc'd,(short of the stock video) and i only hit 10100 or so.

kyle: your score is fine for your system

            my highest score when i had a 8800 gts320 was 10005.

            http://service.futuremark.com/orb/re...=0&UID=9365765

notice in result details that my CPU scores a good bit higher than yours.

Kyler, today I updated everything on my desktop so I took the opportunity to get numbers for my rig without overclocking. I also wanted some fresh numbers to compare to future upgrades. This could give you and idea of what you may be able to expect with any over clocking.

I had just installed the SP3 link that Blackarrow posted earlier in addition, I upgraded all drivers and my BIOS. Here are my results.

              Stock (9095)

              Memory timings (9090)

So what does this mean? I am reluctant to overclock my CPU due to the risk of stability problems, and lack of experience. I know that I would like to upgrade my processor, but I will probably wait for a new system...

                  So what does this mean?
It means you have posted a number from an artificial game simulator, which means nothing more than that number is established and compared with other numbers. Keep in mind, 3dMark is not a game we all play, it is a tool to determine whether you are within a percentage of like hardware setups. If your numbers had been half of like systems, we'd try and determine what was wrong.
Knowing you PC scored with an allowable area compared to similar PCs, you may now go play whatever game floats your boat, content in the knowledge that you have achieved nothing more than peace of mind concerning your hardware upgrade.
A benchmark is nothing but a benchmark. If you can play a game at over 35 frames per second in a heavy firefight, you have nothing more to be concerned with.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
