    Free options to Quicken??

I am currently using Quicken 2009 to track my expenses, it works well but in order to use certain features I will need to upgrade to 2012. This version has gotten some lousy reviews on Amazon and I kind of resent being forced into an upgrade. I also will need to download it to another machine soon and because I downloaded it from quicken I will not be able to install the 2009 version. So does anyone else know of any other software that will allow my to track my finances?

Quicken is really the only one I know of. I used to use Microsoft Money, which I thought was better, but they discontinued it a few years ago. With QUicken, there are just small details they miss, like giving you a deadline on when you can send something and still have it go through on the date you want. In Money, it gave a little notification (must be sent in 2 days, must be sent today, etc.) that was very helpful for online bill pay.

And you are right, the latest Quicken is not an improvement. I thnk the problem is that they don't have any competition. If someone knows of a better product out there, I would love to try it.

Quickbooks. But it is actually accounting software for businesses. I use it for my business.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
