    Software to prevent porn surfing.

I'm looking for a way to block adult content on the computers at home. Last night I was searching for a version of a song that had the F word and I realized that it would be very easy for Mini to stumble upon porn and he is too young for that. Is there a way to block content but still allow him to use Youtube?

I am sure there is. Guessing if you have windows 7 its a simple choice in the security settings. You will have to have different profiles for him and you.

Lol. At some point he will skirt my attempts to block this stuff, I just want to prolong it as long as I can.

Just make sure you block that new porn search site that made headlines this week.

Take a look at this: Windows Parental Controls
Looking for web filtering and activity reports in Windows Parental Controls

I have no experience with any parental filtering applications available. Might depend on exactly the features you want.

We use Microsoft Family Safety on my daughter's computer. I'm sure there are better options out there, but this one is free and works ok. You can set the types of websites to allow, and give permission on a per-site basis.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
