I have a few of this model - 'PPP014L' with the following specs:

    18.5v - 4.9a - 90W

I'm fairly certain it will only draw the needed 3.5a that yours requires and not over-volt it with the 4.9, but I am not sure if the 90W will correctly work when 65W is what it uses.

      I think its
'current is only drawn as needed, voltage is constant, thats why power usage fluctuates and is a rated maximum. its not gospal but it will keep you right'
      i was told.

Mind if I get one off you?
I'll check if my step dad wants it XD

If you could it would help greatly!!

oh aye, the tip polarity match?

I tried to get a 'cheapie' one out of the electrical stores, between tips not matching size, polarity, and wrong voltage...
The laptops been kinda out of use for a while.

          per Ohm's law:

          I(current) x E(voltage) = P(watts)

          4.9 A x 18.5 V = 90 W
          3.5 A x 18.5 V = 65 W

the voltages need to match. the current (amps) just needs to be "enough", the circuit will only draw what it needs. as long as the polarities match you should be fine.

Drunken, you know how I can clearly tell that you are quite the nerd ??? The fact that you probably knew that off the top of your head !

Sending my adapter to Sirex pending his address info via a PM

Oh i know ohms law XD
I just can never remember the finer details of how it all flows hehe

All i neede to remember is
Stuff goes in, thing does stuff

I took many, many hours of physics and electronics in college. if I were young and in college now days I would probably get the ohm's law circle tattooed on my body somewhere.

over here its a lil triangle XD

Scotts (son) sitting his radio amatuer licence exam soon, entry level basicly, they did ohms law, power etc last week.

                  Ah the memories XD

i remember the two basic ones like PIVIR technically thats incorrect lmao but it reminds me
                  P = I x V V=I x R

I got in trouble for doing it that way....
you find out later that you need it V x I etc etc
yeah well i'll deal with that when it comes XD

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
