    Water cooling??

    I'm old skool.

I am looking closely at the Corsair water coolers tho.

How much do I need to worry about leakage??

    #2
None. They do not leak. I am VERY rough with them while cleaning and still nothing. Corsair are not idiots, they know their stuff. Older generation H100 here. The greatness of liquid cooling is how quiet it is. My rig is almost completely soundless, before load.

In local news, a local man was driven to extremes in order to prepare for an upcoming game release. Due to time restrictions the man, lovingly known as Cain, had no choice but to throw a bucket of water on his PC to cool it down. We will continue to bring you updates from the local hospital as the electrocuted Cain continues to recover.

My son is using an H50 and I have the H100. I have had zero problems with them leaking. If it fits go with the larger H100.

No issues with my H100. Just leak test it with your current rig for a few days before using it. That's what I did.

Can I transport a water cooler mounted on a pc systemr? Or will that damage the other components?

They should transport fine if they are attached.

I've heard it's not actually advised to do so. It's preferable to drain the liquid then refill at your destination. Your components will be fine but issues in your cooling loop could arise.

I think that is for water cooling units as a whole. The H100 is self contained and should be fine for transporting.

Apache almost made someone transport a water cooled system without draining it first. You know that MOST reservoirs are open at the top and don't even have water locks, right? And they're mounted mainly at the top so basically you can splash your whole system. H100 doesn't really count, it's factory made. (But I can see where you might have thought that's what he asked.)

How many times you need to change the liquid?

For the self contained units like the H100, they are not meant to be opened. I don' think you need to change it...

That is how I understood it too. But I guess Grisu could have meant an all in one solution too. Question was quite vague.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
