If you know it's 100% stable there is no need.

It's been this way for years, lol. My concern will be when i swap out the memory then. I think I can just plug it ion and it should work

Ahhh. Yes, remove the overclock. Even if just the CPU waqs overclocked the RAM cvan still be a limiting factor in how far you go.

It was awhile ago but I'm pretty sure that I tweaked the memory after the OC. What do you think about me installing the new drive first then I could bring the memory down to specs. I think all I did was tweak the voltage a bit.

I'd set the BIOS to default tbh. Left over RAM settings/timings could interfere with your new RAM. Just make a note of your CPU overclock settings and change them back once you've got all the new parts installed.

Ugg, I usually copy those things and paste them but im not sure how to do that without paint. Grrr after this install there will be some new rules when it comes to installing stuff on my PC.

Can't you save to profiles in your BIOS? Profiles have been around for many years. Just default the RAM settings, then save the current BIOS to a profile.

New rules as in "Mini no touchy!" Or setting up some very locked down user accounts so they can't do anything? Either should do.

Now considering someone has gone to the effort of removing Paint. Are we sure that google popup in BF4 isn't some spyware etc? LOL.

I read a post where someone accidentally deleted it when cleaning up some files, I have been doing that a lot lately so it could have been me. This time there will be some locked accounts for sure.

He is lol. The question was whether or not to remove his overclock before doing so.

Good to hear. Removes any change of it causing extra issues..... which is something you don't need right now.
