Setting up a guest account.

I usually regret messing around with windows settings but given the fact that my sons friends will be playing on this PC I set up a guest account. Is that enough, I don't want ANYTHING installed including windows and AVG updates. I would like them to let Steam update as that could prevent them from playing TF2 together. Are there way of making this possible?

Make a regular account, and restrict it from doing anything you don't want them to do.

I did just that, I also found a check box for windows updates so hopefully that will work out.

Also leave a post-it next to the PC that says "Play the game and touch nothing else. I'm watching".

You I had a thought that i could make a picture of me pointing to my eye then to him like in the move Meet the Falkers.

You can also set restrictions as to installation of programs and such, ie only administrator can install programs.
